One company that offers a wide selection of home computer desks is Sauder. The variety they manufacture is astounding. They offer L-shaped desks, hutches, corner desks, large and small computer desks and executive style desks, all available in a wide variety of finishes and configurations. Their furniture is reasonably priced and is a good quality for what you pay. All of their products are made out of manufactured wood with a laminate coating and are sold RTA (ready to assemble). Another company that has a wide selection of desks is Ikea. Their products can be found everywhere from large corporations to humble apartments. Ikea is known for their innovative styling and efficiency in using space. As for home computer desks, their selection is large. The Ikea corner desk called Alve sells for $399 and is one of our favorites. It holds up to a 19” monitor, adjustable shelving and a pullout shelf for keyboard and mouse. The Alve is made of pine with a paper board backing and comes in a dark and light finish.

One of our favorite furniture companies that makes computer desks is Winsome Wood. They manufacture RTA furniture of solid wood which has a warmer feel than laminated manufactured wood. Their Liso desk, which has simple lines and an espresso finish, is one of their most popular styles. The 3 piece home office set which includes a computer desk, a printer stand and a file cabinet is a very good value at $588. Though sold as a set, the 3 pieces are not connected and can be arranged in any manner that fits your needs. Another favorite is the Liso 2pc home office set with computer desk and hutch, retailing for$403. The desk is 42”L, 21”D, 31”H, has a fold down keyboard tray and two drawers on the hutch. The Winsome Wood's Liso line is a great choice since it is readily available and you can mix and match to get the home office setup you desire.

If your home office space is large and you have the budget to match it you may want to shop at Ethan Allen, Haverty's or a similar fine furniture store. You will be able to find features at these stores not available in RTA style furniture. However be ready to spend $3000 and up on each piece of office furniture.
